It was all so surreal first she had just met Peter by a happy chance, the next thing she knew she was flying, twirling and spinning, performing Peter’s and her own aerial dance. 

“You’re crazy! I’ll never grow up, not if I’m living in Neverland forever!”

Alice tried to imagine a place where nobody ever grew up and were always a child, even for an imagination as active as hers it was a hard concept to fully grasp, all her life she had been taught that you were born, you were a child, and you were a grown up, by the time that stage was reached people would raise their expectations on what you should be able to do and should be doing. These expectations were often dreadful and horribly unimaginative, which made the prospect of never growing up somewhat tempting in Alice’s eyes.

“Well I do believe I’m ready to see this neverland and perhaps I may join you in ‘never growing up.’ I have a habit of getting terribly lost, if you would be so kind as to point me in the general direction of neverland Peter perhaps we could take off?”

Peter scrunched his light eyebrows together, watching as Alice frantically spoke and floated above in the air. “Well you can stay as long as you’d wish, but you can’t say I didn’t worn ya’ when your hair is all grey and your face is all big and fat!” The elf-like child then gestured towards the sky, and floated about an inch above the ground, “Take off? Why didn’t you say so!” 

He fleeted, zooming through the clouds and wondrous view of the city, his favorite pass-time. Peter paused for a second to see where Alice had gone, she was quite the slow flyer. Of course it was her first time, however, Peter wasn’t used to the theory of mind—it confused him, not understanding why females were such strange creatures. 

He then flew back and showed Alice the correct direction, “catch me if you can, we’re almost there!”
