We can fly! We can fly!, Mother Wendy
Mother Wendy

“Oh please don’t!”

She said quickly and looked very much concerned. The boys had all expressed that they missed their respective mothers last time, however, Wendy seemed to think that not all of them would have mothers to return home to were they to leave Neverland. After all, time flowed so differently in that realm. Were she not a believer in it, in Peter Pan, then Wendy might have questioned if it was anything more then a dream.

Peter had banished Tinker Bell once, for a week, and the pixie had not taken very kindly to it. Though she might have thought it justified then, it certainly was not now. They did not do anything wrong! Luckily it seemed that his anger was quelled again as Peter settled into that posed seating that looked as effortless as flying to him.

Neverland once more! How long had she waited for him to return to ask such a thing. Though she had left once before with the idea to grow up, it did not mean she wanted to do so immediately! Wendy turned about very quickly from Peter to go to her dresser.

“As soon as I get another kis…thimble, needle and string.”

“Aw, alright, for you,” Peter assured, dismissing the idea of him banishing his Lost Boys. He never really thought before he spoke—his mind worked differently. Even if he were fibbing, he’d exclaim any word that’d make him appear courageous, however, in truth, Peter was lonely from time to time.

Peter shook his head as his thoughts swirled in his head, and returned his focus towards Wendy.

He watched as Wendy turned away from him towards her vanity, opening her dresser cautiously. The curious boy then raised an eyebrow as she held out a thimble, needle, and string, and walked back towards him. “What’s that?” He asked, scratching his head, and backing away slowly from Wendy. He then touched it out of curiosity and it poked his finger. “YOW!” He exclaimed, flying behind her mattress out of pure fear, and holding his index finger appropriately.

“That hurt!” Peter then exclaimed, as though the needle had humanistic behaviors, “I’ll kill ya’!” He then frowned a bit and flew beside Wendy once more, slightly embarrassed, “I banish it, take it away from my sight!”
